Exam time!!!

Hi There!

Things are busy around here as I am getting ready for exams! I have 2 exams in 3 days which I am really stressing about, they are 200 level History papers so please bear with me until I get through these (last exam is Monday 5th November), so i will be back to blogging/facebooking etc regularly!

Ties. Ties.Ties.

Hey There

Bet you didn't know I make ties.

Well I upcycle cool old ties by appliqueing awesome Star Wars pics on them! I have just been selling them at markets but due to requests they are now available in both my Felt & Etsy stores! There are different ones in both so make sure you check them out!

Gabe & I went for a walk into town for a coffee today and who did we run into...Leon looking awesome in his Darth Vader bib! (and his parents, Jimmy & Chia too)

Photo of the week- reunited with an old t-shirt!!

A few years ago we went to a Bob Dylan concert, well actually 2 as we were 'invited' to a extra concert for fan club members.
Yes we love Bob Dylan..he is AMAZING!!!
I walked down the asile to a Bob Dylan song, and we have his music playing all the time!

Anyway back to the concert....like all good fans we can't go by the merchandise stand and we got new t-shirts! The t-shirts served us well, travelling with us, enjoying life and then I lost mine. I dont normally get upset about losing clothes but I always wondered where I lost this shirt...where was it? Did I leave it in a laudromat somewhere on Europe?? ( the last photographic evidence was of me wearing it in Lyon).

Time went on. Life went on. I forgot about my lovely t-shirt.

Last week I was struck with the spring clean bug. And I cant stop.
Yesterday I tackled our wardrobe and purged it of clothes that we did not wear. I finally sorted through my old box of uniforms and got rid of them (I left 3 years ago..) and at the bottom of the box was my long lost friend!! I was so happy!!

A reward for spring cleaning and letting go of an old life perhaps?
Anyway me and my old friend are reunited and are baking, studying and sewing today!

Craft reality

Hi!!

I wish my sewing area looked like this. Do you??

Some days I take photos and try to make it look like my sewing area is fairly civilized, like this.

In all honesty this is what it really looks like.

And the chaos has spread. It is also in the spare room.

And a small section in the garage.

I know I should tidy as I go, organise my fabrics, but I just don't know where to begin! This all started off small but now is getting bigger (and more fabric..).
My sewing corner is in our lounge/dining room but I think it needs an overhaul, I really need more storage and work space (I think I need a sewing studio!! Any one want to build me one?? Please??)

I wrote this post in hopes that it will motivate me to go and tidy up, after all it is spring so it must be time for spring cleaning! I will show you later what I have done!
