I am pretty sure you have guessed..FABRIC!! and tonnes of it :)
My first parcel was from my brother and sister in law, they have brought back tonnes of Smurf, Charlie Brown, My Little Pony, Winnie the pooh,Hello Kitty and Popples!!
Second parcel was filled with Cat n the hat, 2 x beatrix potter themes, Grumpy Ladybird, Brown bear (Both Eric Carle Stories), Pink Panther, Sesame Street & Go Diego.
I have also put on my stash I brought back from Ikea..I love Ikea and really wish it was in NZ!!
Over the next couple of weeks I will be finishing off 4 custom quilts and a Cat n the Hat bag, and then starting to work on stock to take to the Haumoana Fair in November, so its going to be a busy couple of months!

Hi, it came from a random fabric store my brother & sister in law found in Kobe, Japan. Sorry but they cant remember where they found it! And yes it is really hard stuff to find!
ReplyDeleteOmg!!! The popples fabric!! Where did u find that!!??? Would u sale a 6"x6" square!!! Lol!!! These fabrics r awsome!!! And hard to find to!! Do u ever come across any fabrics from Tim Burton's beetlejuice movie??? The popples and beetlejuice fabrics r the very 2 I need for my cartoon quilt!!!!
ReplyDeleteHey! Yep I know how hard it is to find, I found it in a fabric store in Osaka and started jumping up and down! Yep I could sell you a 6x6 or fat quarter? Which would you prefer? Let me know how much u want and where to post it too and I will do a listing for you. No sorry I havent seen bettlejuice fabric :( I am on the hunt for Pinky & the Brain! Have you seen that?? I also have starwars/fraggles plus a million others!

ReplyDeletePs.... They have the pinkey and the brain fabric on etsy.com. I found it by googling images of pinkey and the brain fabric...that actually how I found your popples fabric!!!!

NEW ZEALAND!!! Wow!!! I'm in north Carolina!!!! Posting it on etsy will be fine!! I just hope I can get it ordered before someone else gets it!! And I've tried and tried to figure out how to buy off eBay but I can't figure that out!! Can I get 1 yard of the popples and one yard of the my little pony!!! I've just started quilting and once I get the hang of it I want to use the popples and my little pony fabric to make a patch work quilt!! I'm going to try to find fabrics of my favorite things wether its my favorite now or when I was a kid!!! I've got all the fabrics I want for that quilt except some McDonald's fabric!!!! If u have any of that post a pic!!! Let me know BEFORE you post it on etsy!!!! Thanks so much!!!
ReplyDeleteHi! Yep I am quite far away! if you email me at redding.nell@gmail.com I can email you thru pics of the fabric that you want, the My Little pony is already quilted so I can show you pics of it. I have used them in patchwork quilts and bags and it works well, just a little bit puffier!
ReplyDeleteI can only sell you a fat quarter of the fabric as I dont have enough to sell you a yard (Fat quarter is 18" x22") I hope this is ok! For me to get more I have to travel back to Japan!
